European research networks – ERA-NETs
ERA-NET calls for proposals from the European Commission address ministries and research-funding organisations such as the BLE Project Management Agency (ptble).They coordinate the national and regional programmes. If potential project holders (universities, research institutes etc.) wish to take part in joint calls within the framework of an ERA-NET, they apply via a specified procedure. Research partners from different countries are asked to form transnational consortia within the proposed framework.
The BMEL participates via the BLE Project Management Agency (ptble) in numerous ERA-NET initiatives covering all BMEL research areas. Details about funded projects can be obtained using the project search in our database. ERA-NET projects are characterized by the “ERA” in their funding code.
