Cyber attack
On March 07th, 2024, the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) suffered a ransomware attack on an externally operated IT system of the fisheries sector.

This was temporarily shut down for security reasons. The BLE immediately informed the responsible law enforcement authorities and is working on quickly restoring the system and investigate the incident.
